Answers to Question SeniorHome Care:
How do I know it’s time to get help for my aging parents?
Our free assessment can help you make a decision about senior home care. But many times, a loss of health and mobility leads to isolation and loneliness and an eventually a loss of independence. At Real McCoy Home Care, we can help your parents make the tasks of everyday living easier so that they can maintain their independence and focus on things that they enjoy.
How much does personal care cost?
The cost of in-home care can vary based on the type of service needed, time of day it is provided, and where it is delivered. We provide a free assessment to evaluate needs and determine costs. We then discuss with our clients the service options and cost prior to the commencement of service. Our commitment is to provide you with the most appropriate and cost-effective program of care to ensure your complete satisfaction. You never pay for assessments.
Is home care right for me, or my parent?
When everyday activities of living become difficult, unsafe, or distract you from the things that you enjoy, then personal care is often the answer. It also provides an effective solution to maintaining independence while aging at home instead of moving into a care facility.

Yes, in order to attract the best caregivers we need to provide them with fair compensation. So we ask for a minimum of 3 hours per day. However, there is no minimum number of days per week. That being said, we can often accommodate unique requests; for example wake up/turn down service. Please give us a call to discuss these situations.

What happens if I don’t like my caregiver?

Can I hire the CNA away from Real McCoy Home Care?
Our caregivers are valuable members of our team. We invest into screenings, background checks, and insurance to ensure that you get the best in professional caregivers. We provide our caregivers career opportunities and we provide you carefully screened, well-trained caregivers. Therefore, the service agreement that you sign as a client, and the employment agreement that the caregiver signs, both prohibit caregivers from directly working for current and former clients.
